The nearest airport to Thassos is Kavala International Airport “Alexander the Great”. This airport is served by domestic and international airlines. From the airport, you can take a taxi or bus to the port of Keramoti in order to catch a ferry to Thassos.
By Car:
Thassos is accessible by car via the Egnatia Motorway, which connects Thessaloniki with Alexandroupolis. Once you reach the city of Kavala, you can follow the signs to the port of Keramoti, where you can catch a ferry to Thassos.
By Bus:
There are daily bus services from Thessaloniki and Kavala to the port of Keramoti. From the port, you can take a ferry to Thassos.
By Ferry:
Ferries depart from the port of Keramoti to the port of Limenas on Thassos throughout the day. The journey takes about 40 minutes. There are also ferries that depart from the port of Kavala to Thassos.
